This new technology is the latest development in the evolution of compact fluorescent lamp industry by applying advanced integrated circuit (IC) technology to the MEGAMAN® lamps, which enables prolonged operating life, shortened preheating time, improved switching life cycle and incredible lighting performance.
Longer Operating Life
Adopted INGENIUM® technology, the MEGAMAN® Energy Saving Lamps possess a life expectancy of up to 15,000 hours and support switching cycle of up to 600,000 times.
Precise Control of Preheating Time
When compared with other energy saving lamps that are using conventional preheating mechanisms, the INGENIUM® technology employed in MEGAMAN® Energy Saving Lamps controls and shortens the preheating time to less than 1 second. This helps to resist the deterioration of the filament and prolong the life expectancy of the lamp.
Compact and Lighter Lamps
The components used for INGENIUM® technology are extremely small. As a result, the lamps are made much more compact and lighter compared with other energy saving lamps in the market. For example, the size of MEGAMAN® PING PONG series which is enhanced with INGENIUM® technology is comparable to that of P45 incandescent bulb.
High Luminous Efficacy
The INGENIUM® technology enables MEGAMAN® Energy Saving Lamps to attain impressive luminous efficacy whilst consuming low power. MEGAMAN® Energy Saving Lamps can offer 7% more light output than conventional energy saving lamps in the same wattage.
