MEGAMAN^® empowers its fabulous range of CFL reflector lamps with PowerLens^TM technology, and positions this series as one of the most effective eco-replacements for traditional halogen and incandescent counterparts. Having combined the advanced technology of PowerLens^TM and the light-optimizing design, the CFL reflector creates marvelous lighting effects with energy savings of up to 80%.

Addressing the increasing demand on the lighting performance of the light sources, MEGAMAN^® strives for perfection and has developed the patented PowerLens^TM technology to empower the CFL reflectors with a higher luminous intensity that fulfils the requirements of ‘directional lamps’ in the ErP directive.

According to the requirements of the ErP directive, a ‘directional lamp’ has to deliver at least 80% of light output within the light cone with an angle less than 120°. Applied with the PowerLens^TM, MEGAMAN^® CFL reflectors have made a significant improvement in elevating the luminous intensity and narrowing the beam angle, delivering an even more focused light cone for highlighting items and decors. For example, when powered by PowerLens^TM, the luminous intensity of a MEGAMAN^® CFL GU10 reflector, 11W, increases by 13.6% with a beam angle reduced from 119° to 90°.

Available with a wide array of CFL GU10, R80, R63 and R50 reflectors, MEGAMAN^® CFL reflectors produce intense illumination which is suitable for use as ambient light to emphasize certain items or areas, making them especially suitable for shops, restaurants, galleries, museums, or any other occasions where intense lighting is required.
